The questions we get
Honest objections deserve honest answers. These are the ones we hear most.
It depends on scope, and nobody can give you a serious number without understanding the problem first. That is exactly what the 60-minute meeting is for: you leave with a written order of magnitude, before committing to anything.
That's why the scope is written down before we start, and why you approve the design before anything gets developed. The product is then demonstrated to you in working order before it goes live: that is when the last adjustments get asked for, while they still cost days.
Almost nobody has clean data at the start. Sorting it out is part of the work, not a prerequisite. What matters is that the data exists somewhere: a spreadsheet, an ERP, an inbox.
The source code is handed over with its documentation. You can give it to anyone you like, including someone other than us. We offer ongoing support, but you are never locked in — that's the whole difference from a subscription.
Company size matters less than the volume of the repetitive task. A team of six losing ten hours a week to manual handling has a stronger case than a hundred-person company with no clear pain point.
Often that is the right answer — and we'll say so. Custom is justified when the way you work is your advantage, and a standard tool would force you to give it up. If something off the shelf does the job, you don't need us.
